Two days of making, experimenting, discovering – and plenty of things you probably didn’t expect.
Whether this is your first Maker Faire or you’ve been with us before: welcome to Maker Faire Luxembourg 2026!
On 24–25 October, the School and Sports Campus “Am Bongert” in Rosport will once again turn into a playground for makers, inventors, tinkerers, artists, tech enthusiasts, families and curious minds of all ages.
Access to the Maker Faire Luxembourg is free, no entry fee, no need to buy a ticket…
Maker Faire isn’t a traditional exhibition where you simply walk around and look at finished products. It’s about meeting the people behind the projects, seeing things being built, asking questions, trying things yourself – and sometimes watching an experiment go wonderfully wrong before somebody figures out how to make it work.
That’s part of making. 😎
Saturday, 24 October
14:00–21:00
Sunday, 25 October
10:00–18:00
And because we’re staying open a little longer on Saturday, there’s a good reason to stick around until the evening…
At 20:50 on Saturday, get ready for a special light and sound performance to round off the first day of Maker Faire.
Expect light, sound and technology to come together for a slightly different Maker Faire experience after dark.
Don’t just visit Maker Faire. Make something yourself!
On both Saturday and Sunday, young makers aged 6–24 can take part in our Self eSTEAM Challenge ’26.
This year’s challenge? Build your own wind-powered creation, generate electricity – and see if you can get an LED to light up!
No pre-registration is required. Just come along, pick up a free challenge kit and start experimenting. You can participate individually or as a team of 2–3.
And yes, there are prizes to win. 🏆

Robotics has always been part of the Maker Faire spirit, and there will once again be plenty to discover this year.
Expect robot demonstrations, hands-on technology and competition robotics – including a first demonstration of the new VEX AIR drone competition.
Think robots are exciting? Wait until they leave the ground. 🚁
This demonstration also gives you a little taste of what’s coming next in Luxembourg’s youth robotics activities.

For the first time at Maker Faire Luxembourg, several of our Makers won’t just show you what they do – they’ll invite you to make something with them.
Throughout the weekend, selected Makers will offer workshops where visitors can learn, experiment and get hands-on themselves.
The individual workshops and their starting times will be announced separately. Check the workshop programme during the event to see what’s happening and when.
Some workshops may have limited capacity, so if something catches your eye, don’t wait too long!
Of course, the heart of Maker Faire remains our Makers themselves.
You’ll find projects from Luxembourg and beyond covering technology, robotics, electronics, digital fabrication, crafts, art, science, sustainability and plenty of things that don’t fit neatly into any category.
Talk to the Makers. Ask them how something works. Ask them why they built it. Let your kids ask the impossible questions.
And if you see something that looks unfinished – even better. Maker Faire is just as much about the process of making as it is about the finished result.
Curious who’s making at Maker Faire Luxembourg this year?
A little bug has found its way into our website and is currently hiding part of our Maker list. 🔧 The Team of Make: is already tinkering away to get everyone back on display.
So, if you’d like to discover who’s joining us this year, check back a little later – or, even better, come to Rosport anyway and meet all our Makers in person! 😎
After all, Makers are much more fun to discover in real life than on a screen.
Making, discovering and experimenting can make you hungry!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase on-site throughout the event, so you can take a break, recharge and then head back for another round of exploring.
Maker Faire Luxembourg takes place at:
School and Sports Campus “Am Bongert”
9, Rue Luc Bonblet
L-6582 Rosport, Luxembourg
Parking directly around the venue is very limited. Additional parking areas and transport arrangements are available in Rosport.
👉 Please check our access & parking information before travelling:

Come for an hour or spend the whole day. Watch a robot. Build a windmill. Join a workshop. Talk to someone who has spent far too many evenings perfecting something wonderfully unnecessary. 😉
Above all: be curious, try things and have fun.
Because that’s what Maker Faire is about.
Make. Share. Inspire.
See you on 24–25 October in Rosport! 🎉
