I consider myself a maker since i can think. in the last 40 years i have done all kinds of RC Models, Electronics projects, CNC Machines, etc.. Now with my kids i started building electric fun drives with and for them from old motors, batteries and broken vehicles. In 2005 i started documenting many of my projects on my website: https://der-frickler.net.

What inspired you to make this project?
Inspiration was never a problem, i see a lot of stuff on fairs and internet and my head always has a way to large backlog of new projects i want to do.

What are some of the challenges you have encountered and how did you address them?
For me the challenge is always to try to use as many parts i already have in my (quite huge) stock or to reuse parts from trash/2nd hand or flea markets. As time is limited i although try to realize most projects with as less time effort as possible and not to overengineer things - Frickeln eben ;_)
